Granny

When I was little I remember going to my granny's house and she was decorating a cake. I remember she showed me and my sister what she was doing. She had piped perfectly in lines little patterns of icing that she had then let dry. Once they were dry she would attach them one by one onto the sides of the cake forming a lace. I thought it was the most amazing thing, and in my mind I recall those little pieces being so completely perfect and her cake looked amazing. So with her in mind I decided to try the same technique, but in my own style I made the icing black! I have designed a cake, just for fun and to try a few ideas and so im going to use these little dainties in the design. watch this space!
