I just went back to NZ to see my very good friends get married.... It was such a beautiful day! She looked gorgeous! Set in a beautiful garden venue, she walked down the aisle... we all choked up instantly. She was stunning. She also is a super cake maker. Working as Ab Fab cakes head decorator, she had the pressure of making her own wedding cake... and she did such a beautiful job. A cake table of white chocolate and passionfruit macarons, sugar cookies with fondant icing, hand made chocolates, YES! you read this correctly, hand made chocolates. Isn't she a star! what brides do you know make their own cakes and handmade chocolates ( of which were completely delicious with a gooey caramel centre...swoon!). Boy when this girl gets her new business up and running look out! I was lucky to have shared some awesome hours of baking before her big day.... here are a couple of photos:
